In the area WWAN and WLAN the outlook for the future appears promising. With the increasing demand for additional services on a single IP infrastructure, IT Managers in Trinidad and Tobago, are preparing themselves to take their companies to the next level of IT Services. Providers have to insure that their network is reliable and also have on hand a technical team to handle the challenges that present themselves. 

To this end the ISP /  Telecom Division has spent the last four years developing an open and flexible carrier platform from which it can springboard into this new arena. The current product portfolio now includes:

A.     32-K Link Package

This package features all the characteristics of other point-to-point links. However  it is not provided on its own, but rather as a part of a complete solution where a customer requires bandwidth of less than 64k as a component of a proposed solution

B.    WWAN Services

Point to Point and Point to Multi Point Networks for businesses that have 2 or more sites that would like to link their locations together for data transfer etc. Customers can have different bandwidths or speed links between the sites ranging from 64K, 128K, 256K, 512K,T1 speeds from which they can choose based on their requirements.

C.  Telecommute Services:

This service provides greater flexibility, accessibility and mobility, for individuals that work for a business but also needs to connect. The home link allows for the user to access to the main head office’s network on a secure private link, which allows the client to access to the head office network.

This product targets Executive’s, IT personnel, Sales individuals, directors and business owners who occasionally work from home. The bandwidth provided is a high speed (64K) always on alternative to traditional dial up remote access. 

D. Backup and Disaster recovery Solutions:

This service targets business clients who run “mission critical” applications in their enterprise and for whom back up and recovery systems are of critical importance. Proximity wireless broadband is used by businesses today as a back up service to their current service provider or, in the event of a disaster a Recovery solution that minimizes down time periods and includes off site storage solutions for those companies or head office who opt for their data to be backed up at a different location.
